Here’s a full recap this week, but please do me a favor and read the spreadsheet stuff too. I’m trying to give the people what they want, and I know stats aren’t the most interesting, but there’s some stuff this week that I think will make it more enjoyable to see these stats. Thanks boys.
Game of the Week
[Redacted] (Redacted) |145.88| vs Kramer (Underrated) |131.18|
— Most definitely one of the biggest games of the season, and I’m not being sarcastic. Two 4-3 teams butting heads, fighting for a solid spot in the playoffs — couldn’t get much better than this. They both got out to a hot start, but in the end [redacted] was too much for Kramer to handle.
You would have to think that if Kramer didn’t spend so much time and energy on his knees in order to get that Saquon trade, he might have had enough stamina to pull out the win. Though Kramer has taken some heat lately for that seemingly unfair trade, I admire him for doing it. We all know the age-old saying: “I’m not gay, but Saquon is Saquon.” Props to him for living that out.
Game of the Weak
Trey (Kupp My Balls) |126.28 vs Griffin (Saquon My Nuts) |99.46|
— This game was to be expected for the most part. With the blockbuster trade for Saquon leaving Griffin severely undermanned in the RB department (please change your name Griff), it wasn’t a shocker to see him take the L. What was surprising though was to see him manage almost 100 points this week. Good on you for that Mr. Vargas.
Trey on the other hand, took advantage of the weak matchup and came out with another easy win, putting him at both the top of the standings and the Power Rankings. Dude has had a cakewalk of a schedule though, landing him a spot on the Phony Watch.
Notable
— Speaking of the Phony Watch, Jace has shut me up for just a little bit after scoring the 3rd most points this week. Our stats still don’t differ by much though Mr. Brown… you are still the prime suspect of being most phony.
— I still can’t catch a break
Spreadsheets

As you can see, there is a new column on the power rankings. This “adjusted” column divides the team’s Power Rating by the average of the league’s combined power ranking and then multiplies it by 1000. This will make it easier to compare teams between years as it helps account for overall scoring differences year to year.
Important takeaways from this column:
– a team with an adjusted power rating of above 1000 is an above average team
– a team with an adjusted power rating of 1000 is an exactly average team
– a team with an adjusted power rating of below 1000 is a below average team
This gives me the opportunity to compare this week with Week 8 one year ago:

Kinda cool to see how it all changed. It also shows that, though with very limited data, it seems to be a down year for scoring compared to last year.
Thanks for reading to the end if you did, I do appreciate it.
If you didn’t: fuck you.
See you all next week.
